Welcome! We are so happy to have you.

Presumably, if you are on our site, you want to study musical theatre in college! Congratulations. It's amazing to be so passionate about something that you know without a doubt. It is a beautiful thing to know what you want to do with your life at such a young age.

The more prepared you are, the better. So let's get to work!

Researching musical theatre schools, prescreening and auditioning, and ultimately finding the right program and college for you can be VERY overwhelming. Take a deep breath. It's all going to work out! This site is designed to give you all of the knowledge, research, and insight into what each school has to offer you, how to prepare for your auditions and prescreens even if you can't afford a coach, what these schools are like, so you can be well equipped to find the best one for you. We think that everyone deserves a fair shot at getting into the top musical theatre school, but we are all on different playing fields. Some have money to hire coaches and teams, and some do not. We are here to help you on every step of the way. With our resources, you can do it on your own, or use it as supplemental information to your coachings and other programs. We are here to make it all a little easier and more accessible for you.

You will never know what college auditions are like until you live them. But the more knowledge you have, the more people you hear from about their expereinces, the more prepared you will be. Inside this site, you'll find stories from Broadway performers, recent alumni, and current musical theatre students about their audition and college experiences. Take a look around.

You have chosen to do what you love! Musical Theatre is an extremely competitive business, and Musical Theatre colleges are also extremely selective. Each school is looking for something different, and that can change by the year. The best you can do is breathe, remember that you love to do this, be prepared, and be yourself. So welcome to the MT tribe. Let's get to work!
