How to choose the perfect school for you

Keep an open mind. You might have a school in mind that you’d like to go to. Chances are, it’s a top school. You may not get in there! Most people won’t. Keep an open mind! There are lots of great programs out there, many are young, have great teachers, and you could have more opportunity than at the bigger schools that already have huge reputations and alumni. You never know what school will feel like home to you. Don’t throw a school away just because you want to go wherever your favorite actor went.

Keep in mind that a lot of these programs have a turnover of teachers. Teachers are everything. Make sure you relate to the things they say about their programs. Research the teachers there. What have they done? Have they written any articles, do they have content online? There is a plethora of information online. Take the time to research these schools.
